Tropical Slice is a small piece of paradise in a medley of tropical fruit flavours. Mango, pineapple and coconut is blended with Australian-grown sencha green tea for an all-round delicious and refreshing tea that is excellent served warm or as a chilled iced tea.
Serving instructions: Steep 1 tsp per 250ml at 80°C for 2-3 minutes.
Anatomy of a blend: Inspired by a tropical daiquiri with tantalising fresh fruits. A mild, slightly grassy tasting sencha green tea from north-eastern Victoria is aromatised with natural peach and blended with tangy dried pineapple, overripe dried mango pieces and desiccated coconut. The lemongrass and sencha offer a synergy of delicious grass-like flavours: the overall effect of the blend is a delicious and stimulating composition of refreshing savoury and sweet elements.
